Abou me
I’m Piky Hamilton, a comic book artist and colorist with over a decade of experience in the comics industry. I have collaborated with prestigious publishers such as Glénat, Soleil, Dupuis, Dark Horse, and Sergio Bonelli Editore. Many of the works I’ve contributed to have been reissued in multiple editions by publishers including Image, Panini and Mondadori, reaching a broad international audience.
My expertise lies in digital coloring and color theory, enriched by a degree in art history with a focus on medieval, contemporary, and fantasy settings.
Bilingual in Italian and Spanish, I also have strong proficiency in English and French.
I have been nominated multiple times for Best Colorist for urban fantasy titles like Under York (Glénat), fantasy series such as Dragonero (Sergio Bonelli Editore), and historical works including L’Empereur Meiji (Glénat).
Beyond my work as a comic book artist, I teach digital coloring and color theory through live and online workshops, sharing my knowledge with aspiring artists.
​I live in Italy with my husband Paolo and our dog Bruno. I'm passionate about road cycling, and in my free time I follow major road and velodrome cycling events.
